Meet The Team

Mark Watson, PT, DPT, MBA, OCS

With over 25 years of experience, Dr. Mark Watson is a dedicated clinician with a deep specialization in orthopedic care. As a board-certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist (OCS), he utilizes an advanced diagnostic approach to navigate a wide array of musculoskeletal conditions, ensuring that treatment is both precise and evidence-based.
Mark’s clinical philosophy is rooted in the “Integrative Model,” which views the patient as a whole person rather than a set of symptoms. While he possesses significant expertise in spinal care and neuromuscular re-education, his practice encompasses the full spectrum of orthopedic needs. He frequently treats complex issues involving the shoulders, knees, and hips, and offers specialized experience in foot mechanics and custom orthotics. By identifying the underlying causes of dysfunction across the entire kinetic chain, he facilitates long-term recovery and improved performance.
Mark is committed to fostering high-level patient engagement, viewing every treatment plan as a collaboration. His background in both physical therapy and business administration informs a practical, results-driven approach that prioritizes functional outcomes and patient education. Serving the Greensboro and Chapel Hill communities, Mark remains focused on providing quality, specialized care that empowers individuals to return to their active lifestyles with confidence.

MASSAGE THERAPISTS

Mary Ann Karlok

Mary Ann uses medium to medium-heavy pressure to help release tension in tight muscles especially in the neck, shoulders, low back, and hips. She enjoys working with patients who have chronic pain, and is often looking to find the hidden muscles that contribute to a person’s stiffness and pain.

Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT) is the foundation of her technique. She has been a licensed massage and bodywork therapist since 2003.

Ale Salvinelli

Ale, known for her light pressure techniques, enjoys working on the arms and legs and often uses kinesiotape to help support joints, take tension off of muscles, and reinforce better posture.

Over the years, she has found that her craniosacral techniques (CST) are very useful for people dealing with jaw pain and headaches. She is also skilled in lymphatic massage. She has been a licensed massage and bodywork therapist since 2015.

Ashley McClain

Ashley applies medium pressure, with the ability to apply firmer pressure when necessary. Her specialties include neuromuscular therapy, a form of deep tissue work, as well as stretching techniques for people who need to build up to deep tissue work. Ashley is strongest when working on upper body muscles groups – upper back, shoulders, neck, and head muscles. She has been a licensed massage and bodywork therapist since 2020.
